Knowledge Sets - Toolkits for Trainers
Within Eastern region toolkits have been developed to enable organisations to disseminate each individual Knowledge Set. These include exercises and facilitators guidance.
This Toolkit introduces managers and trainers to:
- The requirements for each of the knowledge sets.
- Learning activities to generate evidence towards the knowledge standards contained within the toolkit.
- Information about the completion of the workplace learning activities.
- Evidence that can meet the requirements for completion of the progress logs.
This toolkit contains the knowledge requirements, a range of activities to use with learners in the workplace, guidance notes and a progress log. The written information can be cascaded to senior staff, or learning facilitators or can be delivered directly by managers themselves.
All learning materials are sensitive to the Common Induction Standards, National Vocational Standards and General Social Care Standards of Practice.
